A story of love and loss
Little did I know when I wrote this song and finished recording it that it would end up be a premonition of what was to come. I lost my Bride, my soul mate, my best friend, my everything on April 16th 2025. This song is about a lost love that has passed on and can still be felt by the love left behind. A whisper, a touch, a sound, a dream... It never leaves us. She will live in my heart and mind forever. This song which is about #love #loss #afterlife #longing was done and would be released on April 20th, 2025, just 4 days after my love passed on. That hole will never be filled and I hear her beautiful voice 'Whispers Still'.
"Tell those you love that you love them, hold them, and enjoy them while they are still here. Peace and Blessings to ya!" - Mark Allen Lanoue

"Whispers still is a track that feels classic in nature. It has a 70's and early 90's rock influence running through this beautiful acoustic ballad that really packs a punch of pure emotion. A song that will appeal to many fans across many rock genres"
Lyrics / Whispers Still
I don't know where you are tonight
I can feel you in the dark
As if we never part
I feel the fire in my veins
Not really all that strange
I've known you all my life
Holding on to a distant dream
At times, not knowing what it means
There are so many reasons why
When I look into the past
Feelings very clear
Holding on to a memory
At times, not knowing why
Light is bleeding through
Angels and devils whisper still
Don't know why you're in my head
Why are you here in my head
I don't know what it means
Your not here
But this is far from over
Always here in my head
Why don't these feelings fade away?
Angels and devils whisper still Y
ou're in my heart and in my head
Thank you, For Listening!!
