The Innovator & Inventor
Mark began his path into innovation and the high tech when he joined the Institute for Technology Development as part of NASA Human Exploration and Development (HEDS) in 1996. He became part of a team that developed, patented, and produced a novel hyperspectral imaging technology and software that would become a series of products used around the globe. He phased into NASA Commercial Space and Research Centers later to support the Moon to Mars and long term space flight research missions. Mark would be inducted along with several of his team mates into the NASA "Space Technology Hall of Fame" in 2005. He then became an entrepreneur via the NASA Spin-off programs that would see him travelling the world and working with a diverse set of researchers. He would build two multi-million dollar labs for the Federal Bureau of Investigation and King Abdullah's City of Science and Technology in Riyad Saudi Arabia. He is now working on sensors via his PhD studies and on tech for exploring the paranormal.
