HISTORY
Sentinal (1987-1988)
Sential was a fun time for me. I was growing as a musician while having fund experimenting with some fantastic friends and band mates. The band played in the New Jersey club scene and consisted of Chris Flowers (Drums), Jon Stagg (Vocals), Mike "Sheer" Gear (Bass), Johnny Kopaz (Guitar), and myself. We grew together, recorded together, and hung out together. It was a family affair. God Bless all of you guys.
Shortly after the breakup of Sentinal, I was taking the time to send in material for Ozzy Osbournes and Ronnie James Dio's auditions to replace their guitar players. I belive that Ozzy had just had Jake E. Lee leave and Vinnie Cambell were the two guitarists. I remember that Zak Wylde from a local Jersey band, Zyrus, had won the gig with Ozzy. Zak is a great player. I dig his feel. |

Portrait (1988-1990)
After Sentinal disbanded, myself and mike headed to Hollywood to attend the Musicians Institute for a while. We had a great time over there. I ended up recording with a fantastic keyboardist that sat in for Frank Zappa. He was taking lessons from the Keyboardist that played on Zappa's Albums. Man he was a fantastic player. Mike and I ended up recording with this guy for months.
Upon our return to the great state of New Jersey, Mike and I gathered forces once again with Chris Flowers and we formed the band Portrait. We ended up recording for Volcano Management (Atlantic Records) at the House of Music (artists like Meat Loaf, Saraya, Kool and the Gang, Paula Abdula, and many others recorded here). I had the opportunity of playing with Shane Keister (Ledgend soundtrack, Elvis Presley, etc), a great pianist and keyboard player. We were on our way to greatness until our manager pissed off the A&R people.

Dean Fasano (1990)
I spent sometime writing and recording with Dean Fasano (Message, Prophet, Vinnie Moore, Jon Bonjovi, etc.). We hit it off great and have become lifelong friends. I met Dean through a drummer and friend by the name of Mike Luciano and through my buddies from TRIXTER. Dean and I recorded some great tunes with my mates from Portrait (Mike Geer and Chris Flowers. This work led to my song FINE LINE being released in 1998 on Escape Music, Ltd. The record lable ended up leaving my name off of the CD and tried to make it up on the Japanese release on RCA/Victor records. They ended up putting my name on the release as the drummer for track 11. I assure you, I cannot carry a tune on the skins. :) |

Message now has a C.D. for sale which has the song;
Fine Line- (Lanoue)
This track was originally written and arranged by me with collaborations from my buddy Dean Fasano. Escape Music, Ltd left my name off of the track and still sells the release to this day without my name on it. My song was the title track. This release has been available since 1998.
Society's Child (1991)
I left New Jersey for a while and moved to Mississippi, where I live now. While here I took the place of an excellent guitar player and friend by the name of Dave Knorr. I ended up playing with the band for about a year. We played at a large fair in Slidell, La. and called it quits. The band consisted of a published drummer, Roary Pierce, who was also the drummer for Biloxi at one point and Billy Harshburger on Bass who also played for Biloxi at one point. |

Persian Risk U.S.A. (1992-1995)
1992 was a great time and experience, we had dabbled in a new sound of rock which changed for a
lot of people in the early 90’s, it should have been a great success but due to line up changes, then
management problems were sadly forced to disband and our singer moved back to England.
During my time in this band I made a great friend and writing partner Carl Sentance. |

BILOXI (2003-Present)
My band Biloxi has an awsome group of songwriters and musicians. Clyde Holly is not only a talented Vocalist, he is also a really tasty guitar player. Rob Gronkoski plays the drums with a cool groove and precision. Stephan Prescott can tear a set of keys up and then turn around and play a tear jerking sonata. Dave Melton played as a session player for years before coming into Biloxi. He joined the band as their bass player shortly before I joined.
Come and see us! www.biloximusic.com all the dates are on the website. |
